My current project,<i><span style="font-style: italic; "><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Gardening in a Strange Land</span></i>, documents the making of a garden in<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><st1:city w:st="on">San Diego</st1:city><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>by an immigrant (myself) over a six year period (2000-2006), while charting the reconfiguration of foreign and domestic policy in the<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">US</st1:country-region></st1:place><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>during the same time frame.
