Some great news from the ARC Cultural Research Network:<BR>
<BR>
<B>ARC Cultural Research Network awards cash for postgraduate <BR>
presenters at CSAA 2006<BR>
</B></SPAN></FONT></FONT><FONT FACE="Arial"><SPAN STYLE='font-size:12.0px'><BR>
The ARC Cultural Research Network has announced a $5,000 bursary <I>(The ARC <BR>
Cultural Research Network Awards</I>) to support the presence of postgraduate <BR>
students enrolled in Australian universities at the CSAA 2006 annual <BR>
conference. Awards cover CSAA conference registration, airfare, <BR>
accommodation and a small<I> per die</I>m, and will be granted to the writers of <BR>
the best postgraduate abstracts. Six awards will be granted in 2006. (NB: If <BR>
you have completed a PhD and are without full-time work, you may also <BR>
apply).<BR>
<BR>
The theme for this year’s conference is UNAUSTRALIA. Expect to see a call <BR>
for papers on this list in the next fortnight. You’ll be able to apply for <BR>
the ARC Cultural Research Network Awards by ticking a box on the abstract <BR>
submission form.<BR>
<BR>
Unfortunately these awards do not cover New Zealand / Aotearoa students. The <BR>
CSAA is investigating New Zealand / Aotearoa bodies that might offer <BR>
equivalent funding.<BR>
